FAQ

Case ROI, unboxing stats, and skins — answers match the data on this page.

What is CS2 case ROI?
CS2 case ROI (unboxing ROI) is Bulk’s estimated expected-value ratio for classic Case containers: expected market value of a random drop divided by (reference case price + key cost) for a chosen marketplace source (default CSFloat). It is an aggregate model — not a single opening’s return, and not guaranteed profit.
Which CS2 cases have the best ROI right now?
Bulk ranks tracked cases by estimated unboxing ROI on the CS2 Cases database. Sort the table by Unbox ROI or use the ROI leaderboard on this page. Rankings refresh from cached csroi price feeds and change as reference prices move.
What are CS2 case opening stats?
Opening stats estimate how often each case is unboxed. Bulk shows per-case openings from csgocasetracker caches (latest 1-day window, plus longer windows) and share of tracked-case unboxings. These are tracker estimates — not Valve’s official totals.
How does Bulk track case unboxings?
Daily and historical opening estimates come from csgocasetracker published history and live daily windows, cached on Bulk’s servers. Share uses the average of the last three complete months, renormalized across cases Bulk tracks.
What skins are in CS2 cases?
Each case stats page lists tracked drop-table skins and specials grouped by rarity when the contents feed is available, plus rarity counts used in the EV model. Open a case from this database for skins, ROI, and openings, then buy sealed units on Bulk’s market pages.
What are the best cases to open in CS2?
“Best” depends on goal. For expected return, sort by unboxing ROI. For popularity, sort by openings or share. For liquidity, check Steam sales. Bulk’s database combines those stats so you can compare before opening or buying sealed cases.

About the data

How Bulk defines case ROI, openings, and sales — and where the numbers come from.

Definitions

CS2 case ROI
Estimated expected-value ratio for classic Case containers: expected drop value ÷ (reference case price + key cost), default CSFloat. Aggregate model — not a single opening’s return.
Unboxed / openings
Per-case opening estimates from csgocasetracker caches. 1-day is the latest live window; longer windows use live weekly or published calendar months.
Steam sales
Steam Community Market units sold from price-history caches — not third-party volume and not unboxings. Rankings use the previous complete UTC week.
Share
Average published monthly unboxing share over the last three complete months, renormalized across cases Bulk tracks.
Case status
Catalog metadata: Active (weekly drop pool), Armory, or Discontinued — not scraped live from Valve each request.
Case price (table)
Third-party reference ask for ROI math — not Bulk’s live listing. Open each case’s market page for Bulk prices.

Limits
Openings are estimates; Steam ≠ unboxings; ROI ignores fees, float, and luck. Page revalidates ~every 2 minutes from caches.
